Our heroic life is demanding and inspiring. The possibilities of learning and gathering experiences are limited only by our imagination and courage. We wish to have something to guide us in direction of confidence, freedom and exaltation, and we wish to hope that it would make us better and more loved.
Yes, we all need more freedom. Freedom is the lack of fear that would paralyze you in decision-making. You are free when you can refuse to take part in something that is against the basic principles according to which you want to live. You are free when you can choose your next step without fearing the reaction of the others.
On his or her way toward freedom, a person has to change. It is impossible to accomplish this transformation without facing one's fears. This is why it could be said that fear is our friend, showing us which path to take and what it is that we still have to learn.
Fear is the principal cause of anger. Every time we are angry, we are actually afraid of losing something. This is why we should look for the causes of our anger in fear. If we do a good analysis of the fear and answer the question of what it is that we are afraid to lose, we can solve many life problems caused either by open, or by repressed anger.
Fears can have different influences on people. Considering their effects, it is possible to distinguish among those that inhibit and paralyze us, those that stimulate us to achieve better results and those that make us change in the sense of adopting a certain form of negative behavior.
In its cruelty, burberry handbags, fear can also be motivating. A good example for this can be the story about one of the world greatest goalkeepers. In an interview for Radio Budapest, Gyula Grosicz told how he became a good goalkeeper because of fear. At the age of 14, he was the third goalkeeper in a first-league match, and he got the opportunity to defend. He defended badly. After the match, his coach told him that if he played so badly the next time, he would slap him so hard on the face that not even his own mother would be able to recognize him. And Gyula was so frightened that he defended perfectly in the next match. The rest is history.
It is not possible to overcome fear completely. The reason is obvious. As one collects experiences in different life situations, one overcomes the fears related to these situations. However, the limited human lifespan does not give us time to see and experience all possible situations, and therefore we can never overcome fear completely. This is why one should focus on transforming paralyzing fear into an inspiration drive.
In her book Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway, Susan Jeffers says that the foundation of every one of our fears is the FEAR that we might not be able to cope with what life might bring. Immediately after this, the same book gives the recipe for reducing the fear: to reduce fear, all you have to do is to develop a confidence in your own ability to cope with everything that comes your way.
And this is it. That is how Reiki works. Reiki acts upon one's self-confidence; it shows that one is strong enough to face everything that he or she is predestined for. Reiki helps one in using the feeling of fear that appears in unfamiliar situations, and in making the fear an ally by using it as a guide.
Reiki enables us to see fear from a different perspective C from the perspective of strength and power, where the realization of the occurrence of fear becomes unimportant. This way Reiki teaches us that life is not a struggle, but an adventure, and that every problem can be taken as an opportunity to learn. Every disease can be taken as an opportunity to rest, or as a motive to gain new knowledge, or as an opportunity to get closer to one's family. All it takes is confidence in life as a whole, in the divine energy and in oneself. Confidence does miracles and it is definitely the main factor in personal transformation. |
