Your time is your most valuable asset in the world…much more valuable than money. People have lost millions of dollars and made it back two times over, but when you lose time you can never get it back. These are my 5 keys to making the most of your time here on earth.
Value your time more than anything else. “Your time is your most valuable asset. Your time is also the least valuable thing to other people. Don’t let people waste your time.”
People will waste your time only if you let them. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people cut you off in the middle of your phone conversation and tell you to hold on. Sometimes I hang up the phone when people do that.
When you have a high value on your own time, other people will start to value your time too.
Take time to plan, think, and organize. This is extremely important. When you are always on the go, you will find that your time is always on the go too.
Having a simple to do list can make an extremely busy person much more product. If you take the time to plan out your daily activities, you can ensure that your primary daily actions are bringing you closer to your goals. You will also avoid the trap of becoming so busy being busy that you fail to be productive.
Realize what is important. Society sometimes causes the masses to put an emphasis on the things that are not important in the big scheme of things. Always ask yourself if the thing that is taking all of your time will be worth it 5 years from now.
Set goals. This is a no-brainer. If you shoot for nothing you will get nothing every single time. A person without goals is doomed to succumb to the whims of society, burberry handbags, like a leaf in the wind.
When you set goals and focus intently on your goals you will begin to attract the things in this world that will help you to create the life you want.
Take action consistently towards your goals. Do something everyday towards your goals. It does not matter if you can only do a little bit every day. Just do something!
Being consistent is more important than doing a lot, because it is the habit of taking the right actions that you want to develop.
Much Success,
